Lightnovo Raman
Today’s Raman spectrometers and microscopes are still too expensive and bulky which limits technology development in a broader range of applications including consumer cases
Lightnovo believe that our innovative solutions in Raman instrumentation will overcome this threshold and democratise access to Raman spectrometers and microscopes with premium performance.
Lightnovo’s mission is the production and commercialisation of Raman related technologies based on intellectual property developed by the founders. It is our vision to become the leading developer and provider of Raman spectroscopy and Raman microscopy solutions for research-grade, industrial and consumer applications.

WORLD’S SMALLEST RAMAN SPECTROMETER
MiniRaman spectrometer is an advanced miniaturised Raman spectrometer with high sensitivity for most sophisticated applications. It is an advanced miniaturised Raman spectrometer with on integrated, patented, reference channel.
This technology allows for an automatic calibration of the unstabilised laser wavelength drift. The spectrum from the sample gets always corrected for Raman shift and Raman intensity. This allows for a continuous calibration of the device and, therefore, the results are fast and reliable. This feature makes miniRaman an ideal solution for materials identification and quantitative measurements.
Two lasers with wavelengths 660 nm and 785 nm can be used to extend measured spectral range.
There are five models of miniRaman spectrometer to find the best decision for your applications. Please see more details about models in specification.

miniRaman Microscope
WORLD’S SMALLEST CONFOCAL RAMAN MICROSCOPE
The world’s smallest confocal MiniRaman microscope for 660 nm and 785 nm laser wavelengths is based on our miniRaman spectrometer, which performs Raman shift and Raman intensity calibration during every spectrum acquisition.
Due to the unique, patented technology* miniRaman microscope has very high throughput, perfect wavenumber accuracy and Raman intensity calibration via in-build reference channel.
MiniRaman microscopes provide diffraction limited spatial resolution, extremely high throughput and additionally equipped with transmitted visible light microscopy on separate camera sensor. MiniRaman microscope can be used in upright microscopy and inverted microscopy configurations. All what is need for switching between modes – flipping the device from top to bottom.
This instrumental setup allows for both sample viewing using the optical microscopy capabilities and performing measurements by Raman spectroscopy simultaneously.
The visual observation reveals morphological details of a sample (e.g. color, size, shape), whereas the spectroscopic measurement reveals information about the molecular structure and chemical composition of a sample.
