Position Summary

We’re seeking an energetic, proactive Sales Specialist with a hunter mindset to join our dynamic team to expand our business into laboratory furniture, essential laboratory equipment and related characterization equipment. This individual will be a key player in driving revenue and market growth of our scientific products and solutions. If you’re someone who loves meeting new people, establishing strong relationships, and consistently outperforms sales targets, this opportunity could be your stepping stone to an exciting career path with us. Success in this role could see you progressing to a managerial position, building your own sales team, and ultimately becoming a general manager.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and perform sales & marketing activities to achieve business objectives.
• Manage business development and strategic positioning for products and services.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to address inquiries and opportunities.
• Dedicate 80% of your time to meeting customers and understanding the market trends.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

To be Successful in This Role, You Will Need

• A Diploma or Degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Engineering Science, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biological Chemistry or related disciplines.
• A ‘can-do’ spirit and more of a hunter role than a farmer role.
• A genuine passion for meeting new people and building strong relationships.
• The ability to exceed targets and perform under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• An independent and proactive mindset, with resourcefulness in abundance.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred, and candidates with the right attitude are also welcome to apply.
